Russian technology satellite. The 8 kg Reflektor was built by NII KP in Russia for space debris studies in a joint experiment with the Air Force Research Lab. Antenna reflector technology satellite for Energia-GPI Space (EGS), Georgia, Russia.

Status: Operational 2001. First Launch: 2001-12-10. Last Launch: 2001-12-10. Number: 1 . Gross mass: 6.00 kg (13.20 lb). Height: 1.40 m (4.50 ft). Span: 0.50 m (1.64 ft).

The satellite consisted of four triangular fins on a square base plus a deployable boom, with an array of laser retroreflectors. The satellite was 1.4 m long and 0.5 m wide but only 6 kg in mass. It was used to calibrate laser imaging systems and other optical sensors.
